Chief Automotive Technologies will show NACE | CARS 2015 attendees how easy aluminum repair can be with the right equipment. Chief will conduct live demos of new shop tools and MIG/MAG welders designed specifically for aluminum at the event.

Chief’s self-piercing rivet gun, which features a pneumatic-hydraulic design that offers improved consistency over battery-operated riveting systems, and heavy-duty weld fume extractor can be seen in action in the demo zone at the following times:

Thursday, July 23
12:45 – 1:45 p.m.: Riveting

Friday, July 24
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.: MIG/MAG welding and fume extraction
1 – 2 p.m.: Riveting

Saturday, July 25
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.: MIG/MAG welding and fume extraction



NACE | CARS 2015 attendees can also learn how to return collision-damaged vehicles to OEM specifications at “Collision Repair 2015 Design Based Repair,” a session led by Ken Boylan, Chief global training manager, on July 23.
