A one-day advanced course with a focus on case studies and problem-solving to address potent compound safetyissues in discovery, development, contract manufacturing and commercialisation utilising the "systematic" approach and the implementation of a comprehensive program required to successfully support drug R&D and manufacturing organisations.
A suggested pre-requisite for the Advanced Concepts course is previous attendance at SafeBridge Potent Compound Safety "Boot Camp"® (Boot Camp I) and/or significant experience in environmental health and safety applications in the pharmaceutical industry. You may register for one or both courses.

Your instructors will be Board-certified health professionals in industrial (occupational) hygiene and toxicology with many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The presentations and materials cover pharmaceutical occupational hygiene (OH), occupational toxicology, environmental toxicology, OH analytical chemistry, risk communication and elements of safety management. In previous years The American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) has awarded Certification Maintenance (CM) points to Potent Compound Safety Boot Camp® I and to the Advanced Concepts Course (Boot Camp II). In 2013, both of these courses still can be claimed for CM credit. The Boot Camp I course contains 13 hours and the Boot Camp II contains 7 hours of technical contact time. Attendees who are Members of the Institute of Occupational Hygiene (MIOH) in the UK may claim two self-certification CPD points for attending Boot Camp I and one self-certification CPD point for attending the Boot Camp II course.
